Kristen's Enduring Lady Pred

Recommended Posts

hahaha... minor progress LOL.

Truth be told, I haven't finished airbrushing the feet or the shins. That is due mostly to the fact that i repainted Mr. Fett's suit instead ;-)

I'll be taking care of those early this week, and should have some final try-on pics to show before the con.

Yep! You did great work touching up my blue Pred skins - the first time you've ever airbrushed things! Your husband has done great work painting my new latex armor parts as well. You two are literally the reason I'm FINALLY getting around to actually getting my old Pred up and running again after an over 6 year long layoff from Pred costuming. :)

Not to derail, but . . . Don't forget to post pictures of the skins you've painted! I'll be getting a set from Chuck in the near future and may ping you for some painting tips :)

Okie...

My "skins" are really just a painted Morph suit. But the skins I touched up for Mr. Fett are latex. He may want to show that off in his own thread (since they are his LOL) and all i really did was help freshen up the colours and blend in the new pieces he's added. I am still an uber novice at airbrushing work.

My hubby and Mr. Fett both keep trying to talk me into using latex skins for Lady Pred... perhaps one day i will. I *may* just add texture to the morph suit I've got and latex that.

Time will tell...  :-)

a build thread.....how awesome is this. nice armor upgrade

Thanks!

I've hated my human boot feet and lousy foam shins for the last two years...so it's nice to now have some legit pred feet, with the bonus of them having been my own creation. :-)

You're fine with using the painted bodysuit. It's way cooler to wear than latex. If I had an Arnold shaped body, I'd wear a painted spandex suit like that, but since I don't, I run the latex skins. LOL. For fem-Preds it's not really a big concern since they're not trying to add a lot of muscles to their suits, usually. So, the painted bodysuits work quite well.

A bit of an update as I'm down to the last few days before MCCC and the big Northwest Hunters' Clan meetup!

I weathered my whole armour set again, just to darken and "grungify" the look a bit more:
